Rower Steeve Teihotaata Saturday won the elite race of the 3rd edition of the Air France Paddle Festival. A long run of 24 km he completed in one hour and 48 minutes. The start of the Elite race was given Saturday morning in the port of Papeete in idyllic conditions. They were 59 paddleurs, among the best in the discipline, having lined out. Yet, from the first strokes of the oars, spectators and viewers who followed the race on Tahiti Nui Television could see that the suspense will play only within the formidable quartet consisting of Steeve Teihotaata, Rete Ebb, the Caledonian and Titouan Puyo Georges Cronsteadt. Moreover, it is in this order that the rowers crossed the finish line. Steeve Teihotaata finished the race in 1 hour and 48 minutes, one minute before the other rower EDT, helmsman Rete Ebb. Check in was done in a handkerchief.
