The building Grand Hotel (Faugerat) belongs to the architectural heritage of the city of Papeete. Although antiquated, the character style is undeniable.
The Grand Hotel, which experienced its heyday in the mid-twentieth century is located in the Paofai district of Papeete, gunboat Zélée street between the rue du Commandant Destremau and Pomare Boulevard. At the time, this boulevard did not exist and the hotel was almost his feet in water. Its architecture is typical of the style of the 50s, the very bare walls with large windows on the metal frame. When the last tourists have left the hotel, the premises were rented as offices.
